Leslie and Fullerton Crew: Let the record show that the 10 o'clock Tea Time has officially been instated here in the Torokbalint office. It's not nearly The Event that I once shared with you all—leaving the church in mass exodus and cavorting enroute to the bagel joint (yes, cavorting), but I make do and think of ya'll regularly! I'm just so glad spring is here and I can switch to ICED beverages!I would also like to add that the ice tea service is friendly, the price is consistent and the tea is always the proper strength . . . seeing as I have to make it myself!

We miss you,too, at our daily 10am cavort. It's not quite the same without you. It will not at all be the same in a couple of months when the Bagel Bistro closes and yet another Starbuck's takes it's place. The BB owners are fighting the decision not to renew their lease but it seems a lost cause. Sad, sad indeed!

It seems that the forces of darkness have finally found a way to end our Tea Time. First they take Robyn....now, as Bob has already shared, Bagel Bisto itself is threatened by the malevolent corporate entity that is Starbucks...who we love in other locations.
But, fear not, dear fellow cavorter, we will not be defeated! We will fight for the survival of the cabal!

Wow! I had to read on a blog that originates in Hungary that the Bagel Bistro is closing! Sad. This will really hurt the business at Starbucks up on Brea and Imperial. Well at least the afternoon crowd won't have as far to drive! So, Sparkle, when will you be cloning Pizza Friday?
Yes, Diane, an excellent question. Pizza Friday is a little harder to pull off when everyone in the office is on a diet! Something about "Salad Friday" just doesn't work.
i miss tea time. i don't so much miss the tea as i miss the everything bagels with cream cheese and the company. i'm wondering...will you continue tea time at starbucks or will you go somewhere else for tea?
Well, it appears that the Bagel Bistro will remain on the corner of Bastanchury and Brea Blvd. The Bistro will be moving, however to the East side of the center, next to the UBOC branch. Linda seems very happy and we are, too! Now we have our choice of Starbuck's AND Bagel Bistro, and that's a good thing. Don't know when this will happen. It would appear that enough people signed Linda's petition to the landlord that they offered this alternative and are kicking in her moving expenses to keep her in the center. So, corporate America be warned, the "little guy" still has influence when lots of people band together to fight the almighty Starbuck's. Good for us! Yes, let us still drink tea!
