Memory Lane, Chicago

It's family week in Chicago, walking down Memory Lane and creating new ones as we go! Grandma Ruth, Mom, Renee and I are on a grand adventure to find the old homes from Mom's childhood and explore Chicago, a new experience for me to venture beyond O'Hare Airport.










Yesterday and today were spent shopping, dodging the rain, exploring the suburbs and playing with the GPS system in the rental car. Renee and I love the toy, but Grandma is convinced that maps are the only way to navigate.



Tomorrow, we'll hit downtown. We're praying for good weather--we didn't exactly pick the prime time of the year to visit Chicago! Oh well, plenty of museums to see and yummy Chicago pizza to eat INdoors!
